French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu on Wednesday praised the “excellent” level of police and judicial cooperation with Morocco.
“I commend the excellent level of police and judicial cooperation with Morocco and the quality of this strong relationship with our Moroccan partners,” Lecornu told lawmakers during question time at the French Senate.
On the occasion, Lecornu also welcomed the presence at the Senate of a delegation of Moroccan lawmakers invited by the president of the France-Morocco Friendship Group, Sen. Christian Cambon, as part of the momentum underpinning bilateral relations, particularly through parliamentary diplomacy.
Led by Mohamed Zidouh, president of the Morocco-France Friendship Group at the House of Councillors, the Moroccan delegation held a series of meetings on Tuesday in Strasbourg with members of the European Parliament and met with Dubravka Šuica, the European Commissioner for the Mediterranean.
