The agreement reached between the United States of America and Iran on a Memorandum of Understanding is of particular importance for consolidating the ceasefire and ensuring the sustainable freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
In this regard, the Kingdom of Morocco calls for the prompt implementation and full respect of the agreement and thanks all mediators for their efforts to facilitate progress, the Ministry stated.
The Kingdom of Morocco also hopes that this agreement will contribute, in accordance with international law, to resolving other outstanding issues, the statement concluded.
