Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó will travel to Russia for one day on Thursday to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and hold bilateral talks, atv.hu has learned. The information of the portal was also confirmed by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Máté Paczolay.
The spokesperson said: “Mr. Szijjártó will again participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum this year because Hungary’s energy supply is still not an ideological or political issue, but a physical one.” He added that the Hungarian Foreign Minister is also speaking out in favour of peace in Russia.
Mr. Szijjártó will hold bilateral talks focusing on energy cooperation, economic cooperation not subject to sanctions and peace.
