Morocco Reaches New Milestone with 18 Mln Tourist Arrivals

Morocco welcomed 18 million tourists during the first eleven months of 2025, a historic level that already surpasses the total for the entire year 2024 by more than 600,000 additional visitors, announced the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy.

This exceptional performance confirms the sector’s strong momentum, with a 13.5% increase compared to the same period last year, the ministry said in a statement.

This new record illustrates the relevance of the strategic investments undertaken under the 2023–2026 Roadmap, whether in strengthening air connectivity, international promotion, or enriching and diversifying the tourism offering, the same source emphasized.

Quoted in the statement, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, noted that “these achievements reflect the major progress made in recent years under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as the remarkable potential of Morocco as a destination.”

“We are on the right track to finish the year strong, especially with the organization of the CAN, which suggests an exceptional month of December,” she added.
