Morocco Showcases Investment Opportunities in Warsaw

Morocco’s potential as a hub for foreign investment was highlighted on Wednesday during the inaugural Polish-African conference, “Four Dimensions of Africa.”

Hosted by the Polish Development Bank (BGK), the Credit Insurance, Guarantees, and Financing Company (KUKE), and the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the event offered Polish investors a firsthand look at Morocco’s economic opportunities, with a focus on its world-class infrastructure.

Speaking on a panel dedicated to “Investment and Export Opportunities for Polish Companies,” Youssef Tber, Director of Investment and Export at the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), stressed that Morocco has become an international hub for sustainable investment and trade, thanks to the enlightened vision of King Mohammed VI, which provides governance stability and long-term strategic perspectives.

Morocco is an attractive destination for foreign investors thanks to its advanced infrastructure, vibrant ecosystems, young and skilled workforce, and leadership in energy transition,” Tber said.

He noted that Morocco has forged partnerships with numerous countries, supported by stable macroeconomic fundamentals, adding that Morocco’s free trade agreements give foreign investors access to a global market of 2.5 billion consumers.

Tber also highlighted Morocco’s “execution-driven approach,” ensuring efficient processes such as rapid approval of permits and authorizations, allowing investors to operate under optimal conditions.

The conference, which included Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Wojciech Zajaszkowski and several African ambassadors accredited in Poland, also showcased investment opportunities across Africa, along with financial and export support programs for Polish entrepreneurs looking to enter the continent’s markets.
