Morocco Strongly Condemns iranian Missile Attack on Qatar

Morocco has strongly condemned the heinous missile attack that targeted the sovereignty and airspace of the sisterly State of Qatar.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates expressed Morocco’s full solidarity with Qatar in the face of any act that could endanger its security or the safety of its citizens.

Iran launched missile attacks Monday on a U.S. military base in Qatar, retaliating for the American bombing of its nuclear sites and escalating tensions in the volatile region. U.S. officials reported no casualties.Qatar condemned the attack on Al Udeid Air Base attack, but said it successfully intercepted the short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.Iran said the attack matched the number of bombs dropped by the United States on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend. Iran also said it targeted the base because it was outside of populated areas.

Trump says Iran gave ‘early notice’ of strike on US base in Qatar, hopes they have ‘gotten it all out of their “system”.’
