Polisario’s leader did not pay his hospitalization bill in Spain

The local government of La Rioja is studying whether to take the leader of the Polisario Front to court to demand the collection of the debt because he didn’t pay his hospitalization bill.

According to Larazon, the Government of La Rioja is trying to collect through of its legal services since March last year.The bill of Brahim Ghali’s hospitalization cost 45,658 euros, a bill that the Polisario leader has not yet paid.

Sources from the current Government of La Rioja confirm to this newspaper that the amount claimed from Ghali has not yet been collected and that, after Concha Andreu’s Executive “decided not to activate the judicial route” to claim that amount, all the information in the file is being analysed and it will be “decided shortly whether to resort to the courts to claim that debt”.

As a reminder, spanish government the Spanish government agreed to welcome Brahim Ghali on its territory for his hospitalization at the request of Algeria, which caused an unprecedented crisis with Morocco
