Morocco, Senegal to Hold High level summit after the controversal CAN final

Morocco’s Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch held a phone conversation on Wednesday evening with his Senegalese counterpart, Ousmane Sonko, during which they agreed to convene the 15th session of the Morocco–Senegal High Joint Partnership Commission, as scheduled for January 26–27 in Rabat.

On the sidelines of this session, the Morocco–Senegal Economic Forum will also be organized, according to a statement from the Head of Government’s Office.

The talks provided an opportunity to hail the depth of the exceptional and strategic ties linking Morocco and Senegal, under the guidance of both leaders, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of the Republic of Senegal, the statement adds.

It also provided an opportunity to underline the strong relations between the two countries, grounded in solid foundations and encompassing strong human, religious, and economic dimensions.
