Casablanca Airport Removes Entrance Security Checks to Ease Passenger Flow

Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport has removed security inspection devices at its entrances, streamlining passenger access and reducing wait times.

The move, part of broader efforts to modernize airport operations, relocates security checks to other points, ensuring both efficiency and strict safety standards, said airport director Hicham Rahil.

The change was implemented in coordination with the Interior Ministry, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the Royal Gendarmerie, Rahil added.

As part of Morocco’s “Airports 2030” strategy, the new system will be rolled out at other airports, starting with Marrakech in the coming days.

Through this measure, the National Airports Office (ONDA) aims to enhance passenger experience while maintaining high security standards.
