Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held in-depth bilateral talks in Cairo on Tuesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, Badr Abdel Ati.
The two ministers reviewed ways of strengthening bilateral relations, in line with the orientations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His brother President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, in keeping with the strong bonds of brotherhood uniting the leaders of the two brotherly countries and peoples, as well as their constant mutual solidarity, shared destiny and common objectives.
They also agreed to strengthen coordination and consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, through the holding as soon as possible of the fourth session of the Mechanism for Dialogue, Coordination and Political and Strategic Consultation, as well as the intensification of exchanges of visits between both countries’ officials, with the aim of breathing new life into cooperation relations between Morocco and Egypt.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on various issues of common interest on the Arab, continental and international scenes.
