Várhelyi will not be endorsed by the European
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will appoint Hungarian designate
Olivér Várhelyi to the position of commissioner for multilingualism, education and sports, ac-
cording to Brussels website Politico.

If MEPs reject him, then Hungary will have to delegate a new candidate.
