Forein minister of Hungary, Szijjártó stated, that Hungary is ready to mediate towards Russia for peace and to save lives, thanks to open communication channels with Moscow, during the Swiss peace conference.
Due to the fact that Hungary is directly impacted by the war, he emphasized our extensive humanitarian aid: over 1.3 million Ukrainian refugees received access to healthcare, education, and employment support. Currently, around 1600 schools and kindergartens in Hungary cater to Ukrainian children.
