In an article entitled “Senior Moroccan security officials are the subject of an international arrest warrant”, published on January 16, 2024, the APS relies on false information relayed by a Moroccan national who was the subject of of a conviction by the Italian courts for fraud offenses.
In a statement given to the Moroccan press agency, a Moroccan diplomatic source categorically denied the untruths reported by the APS, which targets the image of Morocco. “The security institutions of the Kingdom, continues the same source, are known throughout the world for their rigor, their know-how and their professionalism, as evidenced, among others, by the choice of the Kingdom of Morocco to host the 93rd General Assembly of Interpol”.
